Every student in every strand need to make research paper for them to graduate. It’s already part of Senior High School which is really helpful to train the students and prepare for college. Since my strand is ABM, most of our topics in research are about accounting or business.

Last January 12, 2019, me and two of my group-mates went in a library to gather datas and informations. Honestly, we had a hard time finding the books that will help us. We took a long time before we found informations.

At the middle of our research making, we decided to eat our merienda outside the library. While we’re eating, we saw the playground in front of the library. And yes, we went there and played. After we enjoy, we went back to the library to continue what we’re doing. We didn’t notice the time that it’s already getting late. So we went home at almost 6:00pm and luckily, we made our research well.

In conducting research, it is important that we know how to balance what we are doing. Yes, we must focus and get serious, but we should also enjoy.

Don’t stress yourself. Just believe that you can do it.

My grandparents have a small business. They have sari-sari store which started when I was in grade 2 and until now it is still active. They have different strategies that’s why it keeps strong. For them, selling goods became their past time and the income is just their bonus especially now that they are old already. They said that having sari-sari store is not really easy. There are lots of struggles that may encounter from the very first day up to the last. But what’s good about it is when they saw their income, hard works are paid off.

I am always helping my grandparents in their store. When I got home from school, I am the one who is in charge there while doing my assignment if there’s any. I enjoy the concept of selling. I am having fun while entertaining customers, getting their money, and giving them the goods they want and their change. At the end of the day, I can say that it is very tiring because there are lots of buyers with different characteristics. Sometimes I got annoyed but I must keep my head cool. Having sari-sari store is a good idea if you wanted to start a business. It’s okay if it is small as long as you will improve and make it grow. What you need is enough capital and of course patience.

Is there a time wherein you say to yourself that you don’t have any clothes to wear already even though you have lot in your closet? Well, that is one of the small problems encountered by most of the teens like me.

My mood really depends on my outfit of the day or simply OOTD. I always make sure that I want what I am wearing. I know I’m not the only one who sometimes don’t want to wear again the clothes that we have worn already. So the tendency is we are going to buy clothes again and again.

In my case, I’m not spending too much money for my clothes even if I always buy sets of them. How is that possible? Well, thrift shopping makes it possible. Thrift shop also known as ukay ukay is where I am buying my clothes instead in expensive boutiques.

My Php500 can buy many clothes already unlike if I buy at the mall maybe I can buy one piece only. When I am picking my clothes, I make sure that it has a good quality. Of course it must have a good fitting with my body and I must be comfortable while wearing it. And most importantly is that the price is not expensive.

Just a tip… If you are buying at thrift shops or ukay ukay, choose a clothe that doesn’t look like cheap. Make sure it looks expensive even if not. Try to find branded clothes and you will be satisfied.

Buying at thrift shops is not bad and it doesn’t mean that you are a cheap one. You’re just being practical! You don’t need to waste tons of money just to standout with your outfit. So why not try it to save more money?

If you are the type of person who wants sour taste or the type of person who wants to preserve food, well vinegar is the answer! According to Merriam-Webster, it is a sour liquid obtained by fermentation of dilute alcoholic liquids and used as a condiment or preservative.

Did you know that vinegar will not just give you sourness? It can also give you happiness! What I mean by happiness is that it can help you to earn your own income. You can make this as your business.

My uncle is producing vinegar by himself at home. Then he will sell it to different sari-sari stores. Unlike other branded vinegar, you can buy it at lower price. A 350mL just cost Php5. See! What a very affordable sourness! If you taste it, you will not believe that it has a cheap price because of its good taste and good quality. According to him, he has lots of suki who always buy his vinegar. Though he is always tired of making it, all of his hardworking are paid off with high profit and good feedback given by his customers.

Producing vinegar can be a good business since every family are using this in their everyday lives. So why not try it?

Tarpaulin is a material which is really helpful to everyone of us that we can use in special occasions like birthday party, baptismal, wedding, etc. as a banner. This can also use by every team in Intramural like what we did last time to identify the representatives for our section.

23rd of November, we decided to go in a shop where tarpaulins are printed. That shop prints any layouts depending on the desired design of the customers. If there is already layout to be printed, the tarpaulin will cost just Php140, but if they are the one who will create the layout, it will cost Php200 and above depending on the design. Being practical, I created the layout first by myself so I can save money.

I have given a chance to interview the one who is in charge of printing tarpaulins. He said that he is doing this for so many years already. There are also struggles that he need to face like the technical problem in printing machines and lack of ink. He also stated that now, he has a good life with the help of his business.

Printing tarpaulin can be a good business to those people who are interested in printing and attached in arts at the same time. You are just going to wait until the printer is done and that’s it! You can earn money while you’re enjoying. But still, you must keep on your mind that not all the time you have high income. This kind of business is very timely. Sometimes you have lots of customers, but there are also times that you have plenty especially if there is no any occasions.
