I am now a Blogger!

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great” -Zig Zagler

Welcome to my blog! Hi my name is Farha Jaye H. Morales, 16 years old, all the way from City of Valenzuela. But I’m currently living at City of Malabon because it is near the school where I am attending.

I’m an ABM Student and for the knowledge of everyone, ABM stands for Accountancy, Business and Management.

This strand would focus on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and all things that are accounted for. So this blog is made for me to share to all of you what an ABM student’s life is. To show that ABM is LIFE! In here, you will see different things that is related on my strand.

Join me as I walk through my dreams!

Ps. I would like to thank Ms. Janida Sta. Teresa, my teacher in English for Academic and Professional Purposes, for making this possible. I never thought that I am able to do this blog, but now here I am sharing my journey to all of you! ✨

Act. Count. Think.

As an ABM Student, I learn a lot of things which made me a better person. Here are some:

  • Organized. I’m a kind of person who wanted everything to be organize especially when it comes to my things or personal belongings. ABM strand has a big contribution for me to learn more about organization.
  • Time Management. This is very important to students in all strands. I always make sure that I have time management in every work that I am doing.

If I can make things now, I will not tell “mamaya na” nor “tsaka na, marami pa namang oras”.

I don’t want to experience cramming because that will just make myself suffer.

  • Handling Stress. There is no easy strand, all are difficult. Honestly saying, there are many reasons to be stress but I keep telling myself… “Why should I stress myself?” It will not be helpful in my study. It is unhealthy. Instead, I am just enjoying it while learning.

You can’t feel the stress when you love what you’re doing.

  • Always Looking at the Brighter Side. Should I call myself as an optimistic? Well, I don’t know… What I know is that I like looking at the positive side in life. Though there are lots of negativity, problems, or hard times, I just want to stay positive. This will prevent me from giving up and continue what I have started.

When I am looking at the brighter side, I am able to love and live life to the fullest.

I can’t live a positive life with a negative mind

Expectation vs. Reality

Once you check my school bag, you’ll see lots of pouches. There are different pouches for school supplies, for hygiene kit, for kikay kit, and for other things. I wanted to see my personal belongings organized.

I don’t have pouch for my phones and chargers. But, I also don’t have time to go outside to find that. So the answer to those people who wanted to buy some things but don’t have enough time (like me), Online Shopping is the answer!

expectation

While surfing, I saw this item and I thought this will be good for me because I can put my gadgets in just one pouch. I bought it for just Php60. And I got it after one week.

reality

As you can see, the logo at the front of the pouch is not centered not like what I saw in the internet. So I can say that once you buy in online shops, there is a high tendency that your expectations are different from reality.

Online Shop is a good idea of business. Just make sure that once you enter this business, you need to meet the expectations of your customers so that you’ll get their trust.

Before I end this blog, I just wanted to leave this quote…

Don’t blame other people for disappointing you, blame yourself for expecting too much.

Sharing Knowledge and Earning Money at The Same Time

Every weekends, I have my tutorial class. I am the one who teach a Grade 3 Pupil that is having a hard time focusing and understanding the lessons on his own. With the help of my older sister, we are teaching the student in Science, Math, English, and Filipino subjects. Since he is in 3rd grade of elementary, I still have the knowledge about their lessons which will be easy for me. The only case is that I should learn how to communicate with him so that he will catch up and listen to me well. Of course, I must have my patience because he is still a kid and I need to understand his attitude.

My salary for this is Php2,000 a month and since I am doing this tutorial with my sister, we are dividing it into two. So I have Php1,000 every month which is good because I am just sharing my knowledge and I am already earning money. Another good thing is that my schedule is every weekends only, that’s why it will not affect my own studies.

I am enjoying teaching that student because I like the idea of imparting the knowledge that I have.

I am able to help someone who needed it. I also love seeing a child who is learning and is willing to learn more.

Research Colloquium that I Attended

The Grade 12 Students of Arellano University Jose Rizal High School under HUMSS, STEM, ABM, GAS, and TECH-VOC strands are having their Research Colloquium today, February 22, 2019. They are wearing their presentable outfits and they look like professionals already. I can see the nervousness on their faces while presenting and some are waiting for their turn. Me, as an audience, is also nervous for them. I feel the intense moment inside the room especially when the panels or panelists are asking questions and giving their advices. Behind this, the readiness and preparedness of each students are really obvious. The effort that they gave are observed well.

I would like to thank my teacher in Practical Research, Sir Mark Anthony Gammad, for giving us the opportunity to watch this kind of Culminating Activity. He allowed us to observe what is happening in a Research Colloquium. This would be a big help to Gr. 11 students like me since we will also do this when we turn in the next grade level. This will serves as guide to us. We already have background knowledge on what we will do in the next school year.

First Time in Divisoria?

On March 1, 2019, I am going to attend in a beauty pageant to pass the crown and title that I got last year as Ms. SJSLB Knowledge 2018 at the school where I attended Junior High School.

I went to Divisoria last February 17, 2019 to buy a long gown. I went to two different mall like 999 and 168. After looking around the mall, canvassing, and fitting, I finally found the store where I bought the gown which is good for me.

It is just a simple but elegant gown. I bought that dress for only Php2,000. Since I canvassed first, some of the stores offered me the same gown but with a higher price. So being practical, I got the lower price since they are just having the same quality.

I like how the salesperson accomodate me. She make sure that the gown will really fit my body and is appropriate to the color of my skin. She showed how long her temper is especially to a choosy customer like me. Well, I think that’s a really good quality that a seller must have.

Overall, I like my experience in Divisoria. Though it was hot, I still enjoy there. I bought also some clothes that have low prices. Actually, it is not my first time to go there. It was my second time around. And I will go back there again and again!

Dinner w/ Fam will always be the Best Dinner

Thinking what will be the next meal or viand for the day is always a problem to many families especially to mothers out there. It should be delightful and delicious to every member of the family.

In this blog, I just wanted to share our dinner yesternight, February 16, 2019 (Saturday). Since we already ate meat, fish, and vegetables this week, we thought a dish that we haven’t eaten yet for so long.

Salted Egg with Tomatoes ft. Eggplant Omelette

We bought 3 Salted Eggs (Php12 each) and 3 Tomatoes (Php2 each). And also Eggplant worth Php10. Overall, our meal costs Php52 only. And these are easy to prepare and easy to serve.

It doesn’t matter if your meal is expensive or not. What matter the most, is you and your family are eating together.

I realized that you must appreciate little things and try something that you don’t experience before.

Veggies for Sale

My grandparents went to Pangasinan last February 9, 2019. They really have big influence to me when it comes to business. Imagine, all I know is that they will just relax there, but I was wrong, they also bought some vegetables like eggplant, ladies’ finger or okra, chili pepper, and cabbage which they sold after they went back here in Malabon.

Cabbage|Chili Pepper|Eggplant|Ladies’ Finger

They bought these for a low price in Pangasinan and sold here with a price just like in normal markets. It is almost double the original price. I asked them why did they do that. And they answered me…

sometimes, you need to think ways on how to get back the cost you already gave out.

With that, I understand that the reason behind is that they want to get back the money they spent for the gasoline on their way to Pangasinan.

Though they relax and enjoy, they still didn’t forget the business industry.

Where I buy Pasalubong?

My relatives in father side live in Malolos, Bulacan. Whenever I am going there to visit them, I go first to Eurobake, a famous bakery, to buy some pasalubong. I love buying there because they have lots of pastries and breads to choose from. I guarantee that their products are delicious. The only problem is that most of them are expensive. Well I can that the price just fits the quality and taste of what they are selling.

Eurobake Restaurant & Bakeshop | Malolos, Bulacan

In business, there are different factors that are needed to consider. Just like what I noticed in Eurobake. This is well-known in Malolos, Bulacan. They built a branch in a place where high number of population is found to be their customers. Next is their products, they think wisely on how to make it more attractive to the customers so they provide good packaging. And of course, the price must be appropriate to the expenses while producing the product.

For now, I can say that Eurobake is very successful from the first time I bought to them until now.

Milo Con Yelo

Last February 6, 2019, my friend, Charmaine Maglonzo asked me to go out with her to buy Milo Con Yelo. It was new for me to hear that kind of beverage. I got curious so I decided to go with her to buy.

What I can say is to this is MILO-mazing! It was just made by powdered milo and crashed ice with mallow toppings and a little bit of condensed milk. With just Php10 you can freshen up your day! Very affordable!

I just noticed that there are only few customers who bought Milo Con Yelo on that day. Maybe it is because the weather is still cold. So in my opinion…

It is important to determine the weather/season first before selling the product.

Just like the Milo Con Yelo, it will be more attractive to the customers in summer season.

I Bought Myself A Dress

I decided to spend some money from my savings. So I bought myself a dress!

I bought this simple dress from RRJ. If you really know me, I don’t usually buy clothes at boutiques. But RRJ caught my attention with their 50% sale! From Php550, I bought it for only Php275. What a big difference, right?

Many boutiques are selling their products. All of them have their own promos. I realized that having the marketing strategies will really attract lots of customers. So it will be very helpful if you wanted to have a good income and feedback. And as a customer, try to choose clothings with promo or sale because it can save your money.
